The former Enyimba and Rangers player, Ejike Uzoenyi, took his girlfriend of five years to the altar at St Brigids Catholic Church, Enugu.

The lucky and faithful maiden is Chioma Loveth Abum and their marriage is the fruit of their five year relationship.

The marriage reception took place at the high profile Blue Island Hotel & Suites in Independence Layout in Enugu.
Many of his colleagues from the Nigerian football scene came to the event to support their brother and friend as leaves the single life.

Triple Disaster Drunk driver kills grandma, grandson, pregnant daughter in Ikeja

According to a series of comments by a Twitter user, a woman, her daughter and grandson were all killed in Ikeja by a car driven by "boys who were returning from a club". An apparent drunk driver who is reported to be on his way back from the club with his friends in the early morning of Saturday, January 10, killed a grandma, her grandson and her pregnant daughter in the capital of Lagos, Ikeja. An eye witness reported this on Twitter, with a photo of the car which killed the trio. “ Club boys killed grandma, pregnant daughter & grandson comg bk frm Vigil by 4am at Oriyomi strt Ikeja,”  the Twitter users with the handle  @chubbydick  reports. “ Returning from club, this guy killed 3 people coming bk from church, may we not walk when the road is thirsty ,” the Twitter user added. GNR -  Report reaching us states that popular Nollywood actor, Desmond Olusola Elliot has  won his bid to represent the people of Surulere constituency at the Lagos State House of  Assembly, defeating the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Bayo Smith.
