The robbers who stormed the church at about 4am were said to have earlier raided a  building near Ewuotubu community where they robbed some tenants living in four different flats in the compound. It was learnt  that two persons, including a police officer, were shot dead while others sustained various degrees of injuries in the process. Mr. Obasanjo said his checks in a number of African countries suggested they were as happy over the result of the election as majority of Nigerians are. Oluremi Olayinka, an employee of Sweet Sensation, was on Wednesday convicted and sentenced to 266 years imprisonment by Justice A.A Akinyemi of Ogun State High Court, Abeokuta, for stealing N8million belonging to her employer. The court found the convict guilty on all the 34-count charges. She was sentenced to seven years on each of 30 counts and 14 years on the remaining four charges. The sentences are to run concurrently. This means that the sentences will be run simultaneously. Her action is contrary to sections 390(6)(7)(8), 467 and 468 respectively of the Criminal Code Law Cap 29, Laws of Ogun State. Additionally, Justice Akinyemi ordered her to return the money she stole in restitution to her victim. Olayinka was arraigned before Justice Akinyemi on May 13, 2014 following a petition, alleging that she stole the sum of N8,000,000 (Eight Million Naira), which she received on behalf of her employer. Mrs Patricia Amitaye, a member of staff of the Delta Printing and Publishing Company Limited (DPPCL), publishers of The Pointer titles, on Wednesday died in captivity. Amitaye , mother-of-three, was worked in the  Commercial Department of the Warri Bureau  of The Pointer newspapers. According to a family member, Amitaye was kidnapped on her way to Warri, along Eku road in Ethiope East Local Government Area in a Hilux van. Five gunmen were reported to have attacked them, demanding for money on the spot. Unable to meet their request, Amitaye was allegedly dragged out of the Hilux van into the bush, leaving her driver behind, Nigerian Tribune reports. After the kidnappers left, the driver raised an alarm and made contacts with the woman’s husband and other family members. Nigerian Tribune gathered that her corpse was found in the bush. A man and a woman were dragged to court for having very loud s*x sessions, which disturbed their neighbors, according to court documents in Italy. Scoop has more: Now, the couple has been fined $13,500 for having loud s*x that forced the neighbors to move away from the street. The couple, who are both 30 years old, were found guilty of noise pollution and harassment for their loud s*x sessions in San Martino. The couple’s neighbors first went to court 6 years ago, to complain about the noise pollution. One neighbor said that the s*x noise was deafening and kept their 2 children awake at night. The man, who was not identified, was sentenced to four months in prison, and his girlfriend was given a noise stop order. The couple appealed the sentence, and they have now been ordered to pay $10,500 in damages to their neighbors who now live elsewhere, and $3,000 in legal fees. The apartment next to the noisy couple remains unoccupied due to the s*x noise.
