A 61-year-old man identified simply as Salisu who is suspected to be gay, escaped death in Apapa area of Lagos State, when an angry mob descended on him.GoddyNaija reports: The man was said to have offered a 13-year-old boy N500 near Anjorin market about 6pm on Sunday. The boy said he offered him N500 and begged him not to talk because he would like it. Some people came and pleaded on his behalf and he was allowed to go. People wanted to hand him over to the police but later withdrew as he was badly injured and had lost a lot of blood.

A middle aged man has been accused of defiling a five-year-old girl at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos. The unnamed little girl was reportedly running errands for her mother-who is a trader at the national stadium when she was lured to a hidden location and defiled by the man simply identified as Uche. According to reports, Uche was a former bartender at “Old Skool” bar, a drinking joint at the stadium. The r*pe was later discovered when the mother of the girl noticed that she was in pain when she returned from the errand. After questioning, the five-year-old confessed that Uche defiled her. The mother according to the report has reported the case at the Surulere Police Station. Another report however revealed that the mother of the r*pe victim had collected the sum of N30, 000 from Uche for the treatment of her daughter. Uche we learnt is still evading the police. br/>

According to reports, the 68-year-old man of Sunderland, England, defiled his daughter, Sylvia Prescott, when she was 15 years old. Prescott, who is now married with three boys, said she did not go to the police while her grandmother was alive because she was scared that the details of the case would upset her. However, when her grandmother died, Sylvia decided it was time to stand up to her abusive father. Prescott, 47, said that a weight has been lifted off her shoulder and wished she had gone to report the case to the police earlier. “Prosecutors were able to build a strong case against my father and he pleaded guilty to abuse, meaning that I did not have to go through the trauma of a trial,” Prescott said.
